This Privacy Policy explains how FAMELACK LLC (“Famelack”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Famelack website and Android app.

We design Famelack to collect as little information about you as possible.

Our approach to privacy

Famelack does not require an account and does not show ads. We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-site tracking technologies to build advertising profiles. We do not sell personal information.

Favorites

Your favorite TV channels, radio stations, and webcams are stored locally in your browser or on your device. This information is not sent to Famelack’s servers.

You can remove locally stored Famelack data at any time by clearing your browser or app data.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Famelack uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Real User Monitoring (RUM) to understand page usage and how Famelack performs for real users. This information is used for analytics and to improve the performance and reliability of the service.

Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data and does not track individual users across its customers’ websites. Cloudflare also states that the RUM beacon does not use cookies or browser storage. A source IP address is received as part of normal network request handling, but Cloudflare states that it is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data center and is not stored in the RUM service’s core databases or logs.

Famelack is configured to exclude RUM performance data for users connecting to Cloudflare data centers in the European Economic Area and European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

External streams and feeds

Famelack connects your browser or device to video, audio, image, and webcam feeds provided by external sources. When you play or view external content, your device may communicate directly with that provider.

External providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, referring page, or request details as part of delivering their content. These providers operate independently and may have their own privacy policies.

YouTube content

Some content on Famelack is delivered through embedded YouTube players. Famelack uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedding mode (youtube-nocookie.com) where applicable. When YouTube content is loaded or played, your browser or device may connect directly to YouTube and Google services and may transmit technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and referring page. YouTube and Google process that information under their own privacy policies.

Chromecast and AirPlay

When you play content in Chrome, the Famelack player loads Google’s Cast library from Google’s servers (www.gstatic.com) so that you can cast to a Chromecast or Google TV. Your browser may transmit technical information such as your IP address and browser or device information to Google. When you cast, your TV connects directly to the content provider, and Google’s Cast service manages the connection between your device and the TV. Google processes that information under its own privacy policy.

AirPlay uses Apple’s built-in playback capabilities. Famelack does not load any additional third-party library for AirPlay.

Technical infrastructure

Famelack uses infrastructure and security providers to deliver and protect the service. These providers may process limited technical information, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request URLs, timestamps, and security-related request metadata, as necessary to deliver requests, maintain security, and prevent abuse.

Security

Famelack is served over HTTPS to encrypt data transmitted between your device and Famelack.

Data retention and deletion

Famelack does not maintain user accounts or user profiles and does not retain your favorites on its servers.

Technical information processed by infrastructure, analytics, or external content providers may be retained according to those providers’ operational and privacy policies.

Because Famelack does not maintain user accounts, there is no Famelack account to delete. Locally stored Famelack data can be removed by clearing your browser or app data.

Do Not Track

Famelack does not engage in cross-site tracking or build user profiles for advertising. Our own practices therefore do not change when a browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. External content providers may have their own practices and policies regarding such signals.

Children

Famelack is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Visitors in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

To the extent that FAMELACK LLC processes personal data subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR, FAMELACK LLC is the controller for that processing. Our legal basis for processing limited technical information needed to operate and secure Famelack is our legitimate interest in providing the service, maintaining security, and preventing abuse.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Famelack does not maintain user accounts or user profiles. As a result, we may have little or no information that can be associated with a particular person, and we may not be able to identify information as belonging to you based solely on a request. FAMELACK LLC is based in the United States. Technical information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer of personal data, legally recognized transfer mechanisms or other appropriate safeguards are used.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as Famelack evolves. Any changes will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
